Brands That India Trusts Summit 2026
Context
Attended as a VIP Delegate looking specifically for how experienced brand leaders think about trust and differentiation in categories very different from B2B manufacturing — insurance, fintech, media, travel, healthcare, consumer brands — to test whether those principles transfer to industrial marketing.
What Happened
Came away with a reframed view of B2B differentiation: that in a market where suppliers get compared over a few paise, the answer isn't making the product look different but creating value beyond it — through expertise-sharing, customer education, and treating customer experience as marketing itself, not something downstream of it. A conversation with an insurance-industry CX leader surfaced that packaging and insurance face nearly identical trust problems despite looking unrelated on the surface.
Impact / Outcome
Published a full reflection on the summit on LinkedIn, translating consumer-brand trust principles into a concrete framework for B2B manufacturing marketing.
Lessons Learned
Trust in B2B is built the same way it is anywhere else — through consistency across every touchpoint, not campaigns — and some of the best ideas for an industry come from outside it entirely.
